Lesson
This lesson unlocks many of the misconceptions around what constitutes bullying and why it happens. Some of the valuable skills your students will learn include: how to spot bullying; identifying and empathizing with a victim; and the steps involved in getting help. For those who might already be victimized, we demystify how bullies pick their targets and force them to examine their own perceptions as to why they are being targeted. Your students will leave with a better understanding of the effects of their actions, their own behaviour, and how they can get help.

Short film
(11min.) This short film follows the escapades of ten year-old Jeff as he attempts to retrieve his prized marble, tossed away by a bully at recess, from across a school yard fraught with unbelievable dangers. Jeff not only achieves his goal, but gains confidence and friends along the way to help him defeat the bully and win the 'Marble Championship'!
